A Holly-day Dress

Long time no see! A couple weeks ago just in time for New Years I decided to get a little festive and create a dress of my own. Honestly, I couldn't take looking at another sequined, glittery, tight, dress on every shelf during the holiday season. I sketched up my own idea and figured it would be ideal for any holiday party. A couple weeks prior, my mom had gone to a closing fabric store which was giving away entire rolls of fabric for free. Dream come true! The most beautiful fabric that caught my eye was this beautiful cranberry color velvet she brought home. Here's the finished product along with the original sketch I had in mind.
